National Financial Services, Inc., (NFS), a privately held company, was founded in 1990 and over the years has assisted many Money Order, Rebate and Gift Certificate Companies to enter and/or remain competitive in a Industry, Banking and Regulatory environment that is not always responsive to the needs of small to medium size Companies that issue large quantities of MICR documents and serve the needs of the unbanked - a market overlooked by the Banking industry. Our Customers have experienced the same disregard and prior to NFS, it was not uncommon that customers were forced to move from one Bank to another as Bank’s merged and management changed marketing strategies. NFS, with its data processing services and support and its 19 year relationship with its main processor, has put an end to this cycle and brought some stability to this market while processing over 300,000,000 customer MICR items.

Early in the relationship with its Bank and Corporate processor, NFS saw the need for and developed proprietary systems that have reduced our processors labor intensive and time sensitive duties of customer support and MICR line data delivery. The development of a non-main frame system has enabled NFS to adopt new technologies faster and to continue system enhancements and integrations into other programs at a much lower cost. NFS is more responsive to the changing needs of our customers and was the first in the industry to have a robust image delivery platform and a SAR compliance and reporting program. NFS currently provides unlimited on line access to over 3 years of customer images via Email, Internet or FTP. Our image retrieval system is unique as the customer can make image selections based on criteria from their own system and submit requests for up to 1,000 images at a time to our image servers 24 hours a day.

In addition to the services noted above NFS can provide reconciliation, positive pay support or turnkey systems. NFS has also assisted customers in developing, co branding or reselling services that compliment the sale of money orders such as: prepaid cards, phone cards, money transfer, bill pay and merchant services just to name a few.

Our staff currently supports customers which represent most of the regional money order companies, large convenience store chains, grocer associations as well as hundreds of single store operators, reaching over 30,000 locations, coast to coast, in 44 states.
